Gesipa 1679683 iBird PRO CAS (Cordless Alliance System) can be networked with a smartphone or tablet via an app! Industry 4.0, M2M or also known as the Internet of Things, refers to intelligent and digitally networked systems in the manufacturing industry. The goal is production that is as self-organised as possible. GESIPA has developed the iBird Pro for this purpose. The networking offers numerous added values such as the control of riveting processes, processing safety, status and service displays as well as quick and easy access to operating, maintenance and repair instructions; ultimately the optimisation of the value chain. The iBird Pro can be easily linked to the GESIPA app using a QR code. The app is available for smartphones and tablets (Android and iOS). The iBird Pro has a signal ring for visualising the riveting processes. The colouring can be set individually via the app.

GESIPA uses the manufacturer-independent CAS battery system in the Bird Pro series. More than 300 power tools – but only one battery system! With the Cordless Alliance System, or CAS for short, tools from a wide range of different manufacturers can be easily combined with each other thanks to standardised batteries and chargers. Now GESIPA is also one of the participating manufacturers and the CAS system is being expanded to include battery-powered riveting tools. Depending on the version, they are based on Li-Ion or LiHD technology. At GESIPA, the setting tools can be purchased with 2.0 Ah battery packs as standard – the compact 4.0 Ah battery is available as an accessory. Of course, all other available CAS battery packs can also be used with our Bird Pro tools.
